School in Japan...
Today I went to school with Sachiko (who is 12 years old) The Japanese School year starts in April and ends in March.
Middle and high schools require students to wear uniforms. Boys generally wear pants and jackets with stand-up collars, and girls wear two-piece suit with sailor collar or blazers and skirts.
Japanese students go to school for about 7- 8 hours a day.

Learning...
Today at school we learnt mathematics, science, social studies, music, crafts, physical education, and home economics (to learn simple cooking and sewing skills). We were split up into small teams and in these teams we clean the classrooms, halls, and yards.
Diffrences
In Australia we have our lunches out side with our friends but in Japan we have to eat our lunches inside the classroom with our teacher and in our teams. It took some getting use to because there school time went for longer than Australia. And being in little teams was different aswell.
