"The A-Bomb Dome"
"The A-bomb dome" is the only building left from the Hiroshima bombing. Of course all the people who where inside the dome sadly died but the building is still standing. When the bomb exploded, thousands of badly burned residents threw themselves into the rivers to ease the pain. Many of them didn't survive, so there were hundreds of corpses in the water. You can actually now go inside "the A-bomb dome"
The dome has began to slowly deteriorate and has had steel girders fitted inside of it to prevent it from collapsing. We are coming back to the dome tonight as it turns a ghostly green colour. But it must have been a tragic time for all the Japanese people not knowing what was just about to hit them!
